Salut, tocmai ce am reinstalat pidgin-ul ca am incercat sa instalez pluginu : pidgin-encryption si nu am reusit nici cum. Inainte cand dadeam pe x de la main :

, aplicatia se Minimiza(se ducea in panelu de sus, se vede in poza plicu ala alb.. acolo mergea ) ... dar acuma cand dau click pe X aplicatia se inchide cu tot, pot cumva sa il modifica ?

Nu prea inteleg ce legatura are pidgin-encryption cu system tray-ul ala.
Stiu ca erau ceva optiuni sa apara imaginea de la pidgin "acolo langa plic".
Cauta ceva de genu "always show notification icon" prin optiuni .

Legatura cu pidgin encrypt e ca am reinstalat pidginu si de atunci imi face asa, dar am rezolvat cu un reinstall ... Are cineva idee de ce nu imi merge pidgin ecnryption ? L-am instalat cu sudo apt-get pidgin-encryption, imi zice ca e instalat. Dar nu imi apare in plugins. Am incercat si sa il instalez manual. Da imi da erroare:

^Nu iti gaseste header-ele de la NSS respectiv NSPR.

Tools > Preferences (CTRL + P) > Show system tray icon: Always.

Deci am o problema cu pidgin-ul, postez aici sa nu mai fac inca un topic. Deci de ieri seara dupa ce ubuntu-ul si-a facut un upgrade, Pidgin-ul nu mai merge. Adica nu se conecteaza. De dezinstalat total nu am reusit si nu stiu cum sa fac (oricat ii dau remove tot apare in Applications > Internet> Pidgin Internet Messenger ). Imi zice ca se conecteaza si acolo ramane. Am incercat sa instalez kopete, ala imi iese afara dupa 1 min. Pidginu am incercat sa il "repar" cum explica aici
Stie cineva ce sa ii fac? sau cum sa ii dau remove complet, iar apoi sa pun o versiune mai noua ?

Trebuie actualizat la ultima versiune. Deschide Terminal si scrie:

Apoi instalezi actualizarile din System > Administration > Update Manager.

Ai incercat sa iti bagi serverul pe care te conectezi manual? Incearca asta dupa ce instalezi iar pidgin-ul ;).
